3 years ago VerifiedGreat heavy duty pedestal for our new table top. Wanted the ability to adjust the height too. Heavy unit (around 40 lbs). Cast-iron body and base with thick steel threaded shaft for adjusting. Lock down collar and set screw to secure your height adjustment. Certainly a conversation piece. Only down side to the actual purchase of this piece is the outrageous charge for shipping to get it from Canada into the US. Plan on doubling the price and then some. The piece was too cool not to get in spite of the shipping charge.
